Come see us! Wadsgreens in Chicago

Jason, 80 and I will be in Chicago from July 1-10. We're going to a wedding on the 8th, but besides that we're basically just going to be hanging out with as many friends as we can. Email me to call dibs on evenings, weekends, and days you'd like to see us.

How is possible?

Happy Birthday, Ade!

Yup. Happy somethingth Day, mang. Which also reminds me, I need to call and wish my stepdad the same.

So there's some big-time flamenco happening at the HW Library on August 10 (at 8) and August 11 (7:30) I've seen Edwin before - the guy is pretty amazing. Pedro and Ricardo are both supurb guitarists as well. 30 beans is pretty rough, though, and it looks like the good seats are even more in New York on the 9th. Might be worth it if you have a lady to impress or are looking to class it up for a night - the show will be great. I'm going to attach a .jpg of the flyer and see if it turns up.

Don't Spit the Water!

Location:The Playground Theater, 3209 North Halsted, Chicago

I just got cast in a show that's kind of a mix of Make Me Laugh and a variety show called "Don't Spit the Water." Basically comedians come out and try to make contestants spit water from laughing.

I'm playing for 2nd time (ever!) this Saturday @ 10:30PM. Tickets are $12, but if you follow this link you can get a coupon for $2 off. The theater is also BYOB.

My character is called "Your Dad," who is your divorced absentee father whose really happy to see you.

Early Risers (+3 bands I've never heard of)

Location:Beat Kitchen - 2100 W. Belmont
The Early Risers are playing next Thursday at the Beat Kitchen. There are 3 other bands that I don't know. I also don't know the order. I do know that I will go to said rock show and get my socks rocked off. I suggest you all do the same.
